Margarita Torres

MARGARITA TORRES passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2017 in her home at the age of 61. She was a kind, loving woman who loved to sing and dance and laugh. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family and knitting beautiful blankets. She was a devout Catholic whose unwavering faith gave her comfort up until the end. And she was an avid Washington Redskins fan. She was preceded in death by her father Armando Torres, her brother Manuel Torres. She is survived by her mother Enriqueta Torres, her son Juan Manuel Torres, her sisters; Olga Hernandez, and Eva Torres, her brothers Juan Torres and Raul Torres(Blasa) and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Juan Torres, Raul Torres, Juan Manuel Torres, Luis Enrique Duran, Carlos Rogelio Torres, Jose Alfredo Torres and honorary pallbearer George Galindo. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 10:30AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net
