Margarita Floyd

Margarita Floyd, 93, passed away on Friday November 11, 2016. Margarita was born in Los Angeles, CA on March 19, 1923. She came to El Paso, TX with her parents and began working at Hotel Dieu Hospital and William Beaumont Army Medical Center where she met her husband Lawrence Elwood Floyd Sr. Margarita was a devoted believer in family and always gave unconditional love. She loved life and fought hard to keep it. She loved gardening and spending time with family and friends. She retired from Providence Memorial Hospital after working there for over 17 years. Margarita was preceded in death by her parents; Jose and Enriqueta Montes. She leaves behind her two sons; Lawrence Elwood Floyd Jr., and David Edward Floyd Sr., five grandchilden; Brad Aaron Floyd, David Edward Floyd Jr., Kevin Mycal Floyd, Keith Elliot Floyd, Kaleigh Michele Floyd, and three great grandchildren; Karma Floyd, Arlo Floyd and Autumn Marie Armendariz-Floyd. Visitation is at 5:00-9:00 PM with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 PM. on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast and Committal Service to follow at 11:30 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetary Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
