Margarita C Davis

Margarita Calvo Davis, 83, was called to the Lord & reunited with the love of her life, Ivan “Mike” Davis on July 3rd, 2018. She was a proud patriot of this great country who loved American values and her Spanish culture. Margarita was born in Madrid, Spain on February 14th, 1935. She was the daughter of Felix Calvo & Rosa Martin, and sister of Rosa Calvo who preceded her in death. Margarita is survived by her brother Felix Calvo (Estrella), her 3 children, Jenny, Linda and Michael Davis; in-laws Robert Rodriguez and Rachel Davis; grandchildren Nickole and Carlos Rodriguez, Taylor & Joshua Wells, and Michelle & Monique Davis; Great-grandchild Victoria Rodriguez; and many family members in Spain. Our family would like to thank the very talented medical staff at Texas Oncology, Envision Hospice and Dr. Jesus Gomez for the countless hours of treatment and special care. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m with Vigil/Rosary at 7 p.m on Tuesday, July 10th at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 11th at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude in Mrs. Davis’ honor.
