Margarita Briones

Margarita Briones, 70, joined our Lord on March 14, 2012. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was always sacrificing and loving her family and friends. She was also a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and Roger Bacon Seminary. She volunteered numerous hours at Roger Bacon Seminary and at St. Anthony’s Seminary Annual Bazaar. In addition, she belonged to a weekly prayer group, “Las Alas” for more than 10 years. She was a special, caring and giving person. She will always be in our minds and forever in our hearts. She is survived by her sons: Ruben Bustamante (daughter in law, Sonya), Rodolfo Martinez, and Daniel Briones; daughters: Gloria B. Pescrillo, Irene B. Silva (son in law, Carlos), Estella B. DeReamer (son in law, Darryl), and Guadalupe Briones. Grandchildren: Rodolfo Martinez, Jr., Richard Joseph Pescrillo Jr., Valerie Bueno, Ruben Thomas Bustamante, Javier Martinez, Catarina Silva, Carlina Silva, Carlos Silva Jr., and Damien D. DeReamer. Great grandchild: Sakeree Gandara. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Emilio Briones. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 18th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, at 12:15 PM on Monday, March 19, 2012 with interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
