Margaret Walton Gibbe

Margaret Frank Gibbe, Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, passed away on September 6,2010 in the company of her children in El Paso, TX. Margaret was born February 19, 1930 in Houston, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Frank and Mary Welta, her husband, Fred Gibbe, and sister Betty Ann Grounds. She is survived by her sister Mary Joyce Lettunich, her children, Kurt Gibbe, Jr., of Mandeville, LA, Deborah Porter, of Solvang, CA, Maggie Chessman of Evergreen, CO, and six grandchildren. Margaret received her degree at Texas College of Mines and was a dedicated teacher, including homebound students and public school children. She raised her own children in spiritual faith and gave of herself in all aspects of parenting. The Funeral Mass will take place at 9 AM, Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral with a Graveside Services at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery.
