Marcelina Ruiz

Marcelina was a wonderful mother and faithful friend and will be greatly missed by her children, her family and friends. She was born on January 16, 1930 in Los Angeles, California and is preceded in death by her husband Roberto Ruiz, a daughter Lydia Hernandez, four brothers Jose Rocha, Bartolo Rocha, Juan Rocha and another Juan. She was a dedicated wife, a devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all. Marcelina is survived by sons Robert Ruiz of Dayton, NV., Arturo Ruiz of Chaparral, N.M., Victor Ruiz of El Paso, daughters Mary Grice of Strong, Arkansas and Norma Paiz of El Paso, nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind two sisters Flora Aviña of El Paso, Maria De La Cruz of Los Angeles, CA and four brothers, Camilo Rocha, Cd. Juarez, Mexico, Miguel Rocha of Cd. Juarez, Mexico, Margarito Rocha of Cd. Juarez, Mexico, and Carlos Rocha of Cd. Juarez, Mexico. Marcelina enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and hard worker. Her family paid this tribute to her: Mama was tender hearted and full of unconditional love. She taught us to always love one another and to be humble and content with what God had given us. She was the sunshine of our lives and our home will never be the same, yet our hearts are at peace knowing that she is with the Lord and we will someday be reunited with her.
