Mara Cecilia Ordaz

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mara C. Ordaz, who went to be with our Lord and savior on January 21, 2023. Mara was 52 years of age and was a" lifelong resident of EI Paso, Texas. Mara was a graduate of The University of Texas El Paso (UTEP) receiving her degree in Criminal Justice. Mara worked for the Texas Workforce Commission, before joining her brother in the private sector, where she was instrumental in building a company from beginning to end. Mara is survived by her father Julio Ordaz, her mother Guadalupe "Lupe" Ordaz, brothers Julio Jr. and Jorge Ordaz, sisters-in-law Cristina and Susana Ordaz, her nephews that she often bragged about Eric, Omar, Christian, and Julian Ordaz; boyfriend Salvador Barraza, and many friends and relatives throughout the United States and Mexico.
