Manuela "Nellie" Rios

Manuela “Nellie” Rios, 66, passed away January 9, 2019. Born to Luis and Amelia Dominguez, Sr. in 1952, Nellie was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas and a member of the Catholic Church. She dedicated her last 15 years as a special education teacher with the Fort Hancock Independent School District teaching students of all grade levels. She is survived by her son, Rudy Rodriguez; Also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her brother, Luis Dominguez, Jr., and sisters, Sylvia Dominguez, Gracie Wilson and Edna Key. A visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm., Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, January 14, 2019 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (main building) with Rev. Father Francisco Vargas officiating.
