Manuel Montes

Manuel Montes, 92, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife Crescencia Montes, son; Victor Manuel Montes and sister; Lydia Mendoza Ledgewood. His ia survived by his sons; Sergio Arturo, Rogelio and Hector Raul Montes, daughters; Esperanza Melendez, Martha P. Montes, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm Thursday, May 26, 2011 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am Friday, May 27, 2011 at St. Ignatius Church, 408 S. Park. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rogelio Montes, Hector Montes, Victor Montes Jr., Michael Melendez, Roger Montes, Raul Portillo, Ricardo Melendez, Jaime Montes and honorary pallbearers will be Sergio Montes, Eugene Martinez and Tony Walls. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
