Manuel Jimenez

Our beloved Husband, Pop, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa and TaTa, Manuel Jimenez, born August 24, 1920 was called home on August 17, 2008 surrounded by his cherished family. He was blessed to have shared his life with his loving wife of 67 years, Imelda. He was further blessed with five wonderful children; Imelda Reyes (Precilliano), Manuel Jimenez Jr. (Susie), Armando Jimenez (Julie), Esther Gallegos (Miguel) and Irene Garcia. He was a proud grandpa to 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Manuel proudly served in the United States Army. He retired from Civil Service at Fort Bliss after 45 dedicated years. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 10:00 am. At San Antonio Catholic Church. He will be laid to rest with military honors at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Gallegos, Rene Gallegos, Jesse Garcia Jr., James Jimenez, Frank Reyes and Armando Reyes. “ No one is ever truly forgotten until the last person who remembers them is gone.” Our hero will live on forever.
