Manuel Gandara

Manuel Gandara passed away in his home, December 21, 2008. He was Born in Durango, MX, on February 1, 1935. He was a fifteen year resident of El Paso, TX. then a 33 year resident of Barstow, CA. He retired from Yellow Freight after 20 years as a teamster. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maria Cruz Gandara, sons; Lorenzo and Jesse Gandara, daughters; Margarita Stocking and Lisa Martinez, sisters; Rosa Martinez, Irma Garcia, Martha Araiza, Irene Alvarez and Bertha Garcia, brothers; Jorge Gandara, Carlos Gandara, Jose Alvarez and Jesus Alvarez, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. with a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm also at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery, located at 12400 Montana. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
