Manuel M. De La Rosa

Manuel M. De La Rosa, 98, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2008. He was a life long resident of El Paso. Preceded in death by his wife; Maria De La Rosa, daughter; Eva Alarcon and son; Manuel De La Rosa Jr. He is survived by daughters; Beatriz Ruelas, Josefina Castaneda, Maria Luisa Perez and Jesusita Alarcon, sister; Delfina Ortiz 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. We are very grateful to his caregivers; Irma Ramirez, Ricardo Morales, Juan Gonzalez and most of all to Dr. Natalie T. Bornstein. Visitation will be from 4 pm. until 9 pm. Wednesday, May 14, 2008 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am. Thursday, May 15, 2008 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Ruelas, Mario Castaneda Jr., Albert Perez, Arturo Alarcon Jr., Oscar Alarcon and Ronald Mumma Jr. Services Entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
