Manuel Carrillo

Manuel Carrillo, 81, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2008. He was born on December 31, 1927 in El Paso, Texas. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Ruth Carrillo, and his son; Jose Carrillo. He is survived by his children; Gloria R. Carrillo, Irma LaVé, Manuel and Tammy Carrillo, Richard and Tina Carrillo, Chris and Marti Carrillo, Mark and Imelda Carrillo, sister; Antonia C. Avila. He also leaves behind 21 grandchildren; John, Alex, Laura, Clarissa, Mark, Ivanna, Allison, Jacky, Adam, Anna Luisa, Shania, Jason, and Ruben (present). He served with the U.S. Army and worked for 18 years at Sears, El Paso Sand, YISD. He was currently employed with Foster Grandparent Program at Sierra Vista Elem. Funeral Mass will be held at Cristo Rey Catholic Church at 9 am Friday, June 13, 2008. Visitation will be held from 4-9 pm Friday, June 13, 2008 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Interment will be private. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home -East.
