Manuel Roberto Arellano

Manuel Roberto Arellano one of God’s loving Angels, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Manuel was born March 30^th, 1935, to Manuel and Consuelo Arellano. Manuel was a proud Navy veteran in the Korean War. He Worked as a city bus driver for El Paso, TX known to many as (Sonny), he will be remembered as a loving father, brother, friend, and husband. He was a great storyteller with a remarkable sense of humor that made everyone laugh. A man full of wisdom, and a great heart that touched everyone who knew him. Manuel is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Consuelo Arellano and his son Robert Anthony Arellano. Manuel is survived by his wife Virginia Arellano and sons, Charlie Arellano, Michael David Arellano, and Mark Angelo Arellano. Manuel Arellano also leaves behind his grandchildren; Charles Jr., Michael, Victor, Steven, Amber, Robert, Isaac, and Michael T., along with six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, September 06, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Homes-East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 07, 2022, at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd. El Paso, TX 79925. Committal Service to follow at 1:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, TX 79906.
