Magdalena Franco

Magdalena Franco, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 27, 2007. She was born on July 22, 1933, in El Paso, Texas to Jose and Francisca Conde. She was a life-long resident of El Paso. Magdalena was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted member of the Catholic Church, was an active member of the Democratic Political Party and was greatly loved and respected by all her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Roberto Franco, her children Robert Franco Jr. Oveido, Florida, Jose Franco, Clovis, New Mexico, Jim Franco, Allen, Texas, Barbara Franco Aguirre, El Paso, Texas, Rudy Franco, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Alex Franco, El Paso, Texas and the nine grandchildren, her sisters Nelly Padilla, Bertha Perez and Josie Veytia. Pallbearers include sons Robert Franco, Joe Franco, Jim Franco, Rudy Franco, Alex Franco and her son in law Larry Aguirre and her grandson Daniel Aguirre. Honorary Pallbearers are her granddaughter Jessica Aguirre and her dearest friends Dora Moreno and Lucy Salcido. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast with a vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 9:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will be private. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
