MAGDALENA D. FELIX (Nena), 91, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. Nena was born in El Paso, Texas on January 9, 1932, the daughter of Remedios Dominguez. Her greatest love was her family. She felt her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Nena was married to Geronimo M. Felix until his death in 1975, and later married Miguel Villa.
She attended Lincoln Elementary School.
Nena was a very charitable person who donating generously to charities, especially Canal 44, St. Jude’s, and San Lorenzo Church.
Nena worked at Farah for 20 years and later went on to work for the El Paso Independent School District.
Nena is survived by her seven children, Elvira Felix, Rosa Maria Felix, Jose Luis Felix (Lupe), David Felix (Maria), Margie Felix Sepulveda (Robert), Rodolfo Felix, and Geronimo Felix (Vicki). She is survived by 21 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren. Nena is also survived by her brother Manuel Beltran (Maria) and sisters, Rosa Soto and Carmen Cambero (Miguel). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
She was predeceased by her son Carlos Dominguez Felix, husband Geronimo M. Felix and Miguel Villa, her sister Lucia Dominguez and brothers Eduardo and Juan Beltran, and her grandsons Jose Luis Felix Jr. and Carlos Felix Jr.
Nena was proud to have shared her life with childhood friends, of which only Mary Reyes is still living.
