Magda S. Gonzales

Our mother passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2023 short of her 91^st birthday surrounded by all that loved her. She was born in Juarez Mexico on April 22, 1932.  As a young woman she was an accomplished music teacher, teaching piano and accordion.  Her passion was classical music, and it was not uncommon for her to be invited to play at various social functions.

 She was our matriarch and rock, setting the example of strength and courage to her children and grandchildren. She was everything good in life and will be missed by all she touched. I hope we see the world like you did. Always giving blessing to us all.

She is Preceded in death by her husband Emilio Gonzales and her daughter Magda Silvia Gonzales. She is survived by her children Emil Gonzales, Liana Whitaker, Rosina Robbs (Ed Robbs), Omar Gonzales, Dalia Demoore and Victor Gonzales (Grace Gonzales). She leaves behind a legacy of all that is good in life.  She has 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive.  Funeral Mass at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9025 Diana Drive.  Committal Service will be at 11:30am at Evergreen Mausoleum,  4301 Alameda Avenue.  Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.  Please visit her online memorial at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net.
