Lydia Guadalupe Jimenez Garcia, 65, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017.
Born February 18, 1952 in Juarez, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Jesus Jimenez and Lydia Rios. A graduate of Ysleta High School class of 1971, she devoted her life to her husband; three children and the family business. In 1996 she started LGG Comfort Homes where she built beautiful custom homes throughout El Paso. Her homes were featured in the prestigious Parade of Homes that were showcased alongside the best builders of the city. An avid San Francisco 49ers fan, she enjoyed traveling and sending time with her pets and family. She will be greatly missed and remembered forever.
She is survived by her mother Lydia Rios Jimenez, her sister Maria de Jesus Jimenez Alvarez; her beloved husband of 45 years, Juan E. Garcia; two sons, Juan Eduardo; Jesus Alberto and wife Brisa Liliana; one daughter Claudia Veronica Torres and husband Mark; nine grandchildren Christiana, Cody Lee, Diego Isahi, Mia Isabella, Lianey Anahi, Uriah Zachary, Lillian Madelyn, Emily Bo, and Nataleigh Gray.
Memorial services will be conducted at Sunset Funeral Home 9521 N. Loop El Paso Texas Thursday August 24, 2017 with visitation from 4pm-9pm; Rosary at 7pm. A memorial mass will be held 9:30am Friday August 25, 2017 at St. Raphael Church located at 2301 Zanzibar Road El Paso, Texas.
