Lupe Esquivel

Lupe Esquivel, a vibrant and loving woman of 84, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, to join the angels above. Throughout her life, Lupe was more than just a family member; she was a beacon of love and strength. As a devoted wife, caring mother, cherished daughter, and loyal friend, Lupe’s presence lit up every room she walked into and touched countless lives. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lupe was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Juan Muñoz and Apolonia Villarreal, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms, as well as her dear husband, Salvador Esquivel, with whom she shared countless beautiful moments. Together, they created a family grounded in love and resilience.

She leaves behind a legacy through her sons, Victor and Salvador Esquivel Jr., who carry forward her spirit and values. The love she nurtured within her family extends to numerous extended relatives and a wide circle of friends, all of whom she deeply treasured. These relationships were testament to Lupe’s generous heart and unwavering dedication to those she cared about.

Her life was a testament to the power of unconditional love, and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her. Lupe's legacy is one built on kindness, compassion, and unwavering support, traits that will be remembered and cherished forever by her family and friends. May her soul rest in peace, and may her life continue to inspire those who knew her to live with as much love and grace as she did.

A Memorial service will be at Emanuel Baptist Church on Hawkins St. and Viscount, Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 6:00 pm.  An Inurnment will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906.
