Luis Tovar

Luis Tovar, 69, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, in El Paso, Texas. He was born to parents Abel Tovar (deceased) and Modesta Tovar on June 21, 1952 in Mexico. He married Gloria Rojas in 1975, who survives him. Luis is also survived by his daughter, April Barraza, and son, Luis Tovar, as well as his grandchildren Bella Nicolette Barraza, Michael Isaiah Barraza, and Elijah Gabriel Barraza. He is also survived by siblings Abel Tovar, Francisco Tovar, Socorro Sifuentes, Lucia Tovar, and Ramona Tovar. He was a loving husband, father, Papa, and friend to all that knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by everyone that loved him. A Memorial Service will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a sermon starting at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Drive, El Paso, Texas 79907. A graveside will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907.
