Luis "Junie Ping-Ping" Ortega Jr., 72, entered into eternal rest on June 4, 2021 in El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife; Angelina G. Ortega, parents; Luis Ortega and Felipa Solis. Luis is survived by his loving sons; Freddy Granillo, Tomas Carrasco and Angel Granillo. Daughters; Edna De La Torre, Sylvia Granillo, Yvonne Granillo, Norma Granillo and Lydia Granillo. Brother; Manuel Ortega, sisters; Elvira Ortega, Guadalupe Cruz and Irene Santos. Also leaving behind twenty grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Mission, 131 S. Zaragoza Rd. El Paso, Texas 79907. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Mission. Graveside will follow at 11:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
