Luis Nava

Luis Nava Jr. joined our Lord on January 19, 2013 while surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Fortunata Nava, and siblings; Luisa Medina, and Enrique Nava. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Nava, of 24 years, his children,Tamara, Ida, Ysela, Mary Lou, Luis,and Carlos Nava and the joy of his life his granddaughter, Genesis. He is also survived by 14 more grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and by siblings, Maria Harding, Martina Yarbrough, Maria Girvin, Lorenzo Nava, Alfredo Nava and Jesus Nava. Luis was a veteran of the U.S. Air force serving during the Korean War and a proud American. He lived his life with passion and sought nothing from others. Instead, he gave much of himself. Luis will be deeply missed by those who knew him, but especially by those who shared his life, his dreams, and his love. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. in honor of Luis on January 31, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. The Mass will be held at 9:00 A.M. on February 1, 2013 at Cristo Rey Church at 8011 Williamette. The Rite of committal will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors.
