Luis Alfonso Martinez

Luis (Louie) Martinez, 50, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010. Louie was a 1977 graduate of Bel Air High School. He lived in San Antonio and Austin before returning to El Paso in 2007. His easy-going, gentle nature and beautiful smile will never be forgotten. He is survived by his parents, Ramon and Elvira Martinez, daughters; Sarah Meza, Alexa Meza and Danielle Martinez; brother, Fernando Martinez; and sister, Laura Gutierrez. He also leaves behind a loving sister-in-law, brother-in-law, 2 nieces and 1 nephew, aunts, uncles and countless cousins and friends. Visitation will be held from 4-9 pm on Monday, April 5, 2010 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fernando Martinez, Mario Gutierrez, Rodolfo Montes, Ricardo Montes Arturo Garza and Manuel Avila Jr. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
