Luis Mauricio Dominguez

Luis M. Dominguez, 79, passed away and entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 21, 2008. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso and a member of Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Civil Service after 25 years as a firefighter at White Sands Missile Range and Fort Bliss. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lily; sons; Ruben (Martha), Gilbert, David (Sukey), Daniel (Susana). Grandchildren; Melissa, Desiree, Jessica, Samantha, Sebastian, Vincent, Joseph, Erik, Eric, and Demi; one brother; Gilbert Dominguez and three sisters; Delia Silva, Luisa Estrada, and Toni Duron. He will be greatly missed by all his loved ones. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home – East,750 N. Carolina Dr. with the recital of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2008 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 7712 Rosedale. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. His sons, brother, and his compadre, Al Briones, will serve as pallbearers.
