Luis S. Chavez

Luis S. Chavez, 85, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2007. He was born in Concordia, Coahuila Mexico and immigrated to the U.S. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1982. Loving husband, father, and grandfather, Luis will be remembered for his passion for golf, zest for life, love and devotion to his family. He was preceded in death by his son, Gilbert Chavez. He is survived by his wife, Ida V. Chavez; sons, Richard E. Chavez and Abraham L. Chavez; daughter, Ida L. Waide; and grandchildren, Ivette Muller, Gilbert Lee Chavez, Tina Chavez, Steven Chavez, Amanda Chavez, Rex Waide, Jr., Breana Chavez, Elizabeth Waide, and Carolyn Waide. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 1:30pm, Friday, May 11, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast. Graveside Services will follow at 2:00pm, Friday, May 11, 2007 at Ft.
