Lucio Gomez

Lucio (Yuyo) Gomez was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. Lucio passed away on Friday, March 12th at the age of 78 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Manuela Gomez; sister, Herlinda (Tomas) Huerta and brothers; Jose, Juan Jr., and Manuel Gomez. He is survived by his sister-in-laws Victoria, Gloria and Cecelia Gomez. Lucio was a U.S. Air Force veteran who had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious laughter. Gathering of Remembrance will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Rosary at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 9, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes – East, 750 N. Carolina. Inurnment will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
