Louis G Saiz

SGM (Ret) Louis G. Saiz, 71, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on September 4, 1940 to Teodoro and Ana Maria Saiz, passed away July 4, 2012. He was a resident of El Paso, Texas for more than forty years and served in the U.S. Army for more than 24 years. He is survived by his three children; Louis Saiz, Jr., Roseann Jenkins (husband Kevin), and Theodore Saiz (wife Christine), and Sandra Michaels, his ten grandchildren; Christopher Gorham, Jessica Saiz, Tara Jenkins, Kyle Gorham (wife Alexis), Shaena Stewart (husband Jonathan), Jacquelyn Saiz, Sara Saiz, Theodore Saiz, Jr., Christian Saiz, Ashley Saiz, and his four great grandchildren; Mia, Jazlynn, Jonah, and Jonathan. He was a proud Vietnam veteran who enjoyed cooking for everyone, loved spending time with his family, and always expected a kiss as soon as you walked through his door. He will be remembered as a loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and friend. A rosary will be held Thursday, July 12th, at 7 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Mass will be Friday, July 13th, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 10000 Pheasant Road, at 9:45 a.m. with Committal Service to follow at 11:00 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
