Lorenzo Jesus Hernandez

Lorenzo Jesus Hernandez, age 70, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Socorro, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Lorenzo is preceded in death by his loving parents; Gonzalo Hernandez and Maria Quezada; and his brother; Carlos Hernandez. He is survived by his dearest children; Jesus Lorenzo Hernandez and Belinda Hernandez; his siblings; Gonzalo Hernandez, Leticia Hernandez Patricia Hernandez and George Hernandez; and his 3 grandchildren; Vincent Hernandez, Sophia Hernandez and Jenevieve Hernandez. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory. 

Lorenzo proudly served 36 years for the El Paso Police Department. 

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Thursday, May 02, 2024 with a Celebration of Life at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Homes- Americas. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm at Sunset Funeral Homes- Americas on Friday, May 03, 2024 with a Graveside Service to follow at 2:30 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
