Lorenza Tellez

Lorenza Tellez, age 102, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 29, 2021. She was a wonderful mother, sister, and daughter and will be greatly missed. Lorenza is preceded in death by her loving parents; Maximo Marquez and Maria De Jesus Varela, brothers Francisco Duran, Guillermo Duran, Manuel Duran, and sisters Pilar Arce, Connie Quintus, and Ramona Burrola. She is survived by her adoring children; Avelino Tellez Jr., Joaquin Tellez, Miguel Angel Tellez, Cecilia Tellez, Maria Tellez, Margarita Rodriguez, and Rosalina Beard. Along with her 12 beautiful grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm with a Holy Rosary to be followed at 6:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home- West. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 12:00pm at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church, 1885 McNutt Rd, Sunland Park, NM 88063. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler.
