Loren W. Dickison

Major (U.S. Army Retired) Loren W. Dickison, 86, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Trisun Nursing Home after a long battle with Cancer. He was born on June 2, 1925 to Everett Dickison and Elizabeth Bounds Dickison in Corning, Arkansas. He proudly served our Country for over 20 years in the US Army. He was a resident of El Paso for 51 years during which time he worked for the Department of City Planning and was a dedicated leader with the Boy Scouts of America. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norma and numerous nieces and nephews. A Committal Service will begin at 10am, Monday, June 20, 2011 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
