Loralee Tucker

Loralee Tucker, 71. Mother was born Oct. 30, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Adopted by Bill and Mary Jane and was raised in Taylorsville, Utah. She was acknowledged as one of the first individuals of the State of Utah to complete the 50 mile swim. She graduated from Utah State College while teaching at Tooele High School. She came to El Paso in 1964 and taught at Austin High, Bowie High and Sageland Elementary. While at Sageland Elementary she found her four children she adopted. She was a teacher and counselor for 49 years, teaching Pre-K to graduate school. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in many capacities. She had so many more accomplishments in her life that would take a lifetime to mention. She served our “Heavenly Father” and all people with love. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We love you Mom. Committal Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Desert View Cemetery in Chaparral, New Mexico. Interment to follow at Desert View Cemetery.
