Loraine Constance Wheeler

Loraine Wheeler, 86, born September 10, 1920 in Durant, OK, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 in El Paso, TX. Mrs. Wheeler proudly served her country as a Corporal in the WAC. During her service, she was a cryptographer attached to Supreme Headquarters in England, France, and Germany during WWII. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Fannie Mae Weaver, and sister, Peggy Willard. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, George C. Wheeler of El Paso, TX; sons: Randall Wheeler of El Paso, TX and Michael Wheeler and his wife, Denise of Odessa, TX; brother, Jack Wheeler and wife, Johnnie of Hope, AR; grandchildren: Charlie Wheeler of AL; Russell Wheeler of Odessa, TX, and Alanea Wheeler of Lubbock, TX; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm, Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Graveside Service and Interment with Military Honors will begin at 2:30 pm, Monday, January 29, 2007 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
