Lois Ellen Jenkins

Lois Ellen Jenkins, 80 passed away March 1, 2011. Born in El Paso on Sept. 26, 1930 to Frances Fay Hawkins and Arthur Gilbert Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Thomas Jenkins on November 7, 2009. She attended and Graduated from El Paso High School. She spent most of her life as a homemaker but also worked as a telephone operator, Secretary to the County Livestock Show and Rodeo as the “Pig Lady” and as a Secretary for Artcraft Industries. Survived by her children Edwin Arthur Jenkins, Frederick Gilbert Jenkins, his wife Linn, Kathleen Fay Jenkins with her husband James Luther Pilant and Lucy Catherine Jenkins, 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was a Saint of a Wife, a Hero of a Mother and a Treasure of a Friend. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be sorely missed.
