Linda G. Holmes

Mrs. Linda G. Holmes, was born in Las Cruces, NM on February 3,1947 to Mayo and Ruthie Clements. She entered into peaceful slumber the morning of March 18, 2009. She married the love of her life, life mate, Jackie Morris Holmes on April 17, 1967. She had her first child, a daughter, Kimberly Ann Holmes in 1969. She then had her second child, a son, Richard Allen Holmes in 1972. She prided herself in being a wonderful wife and mother. Her family meant the world to her. She enjoyed geneology, researching her family roots, scrapbooking, silk ribbon embroidery, and she made the best chicken and dumplings and Mexican food . She is preceded in death by her father, Mayo Clements; mother, Ruthie Clements; and sister, Maya Kerr. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life husband, Jackie Morris Holmes; daughter, Kimberly Ann Holmes; son, Richard Allen Holmes; grandchildren, Krista Diane Holmes, Magan Ann Wright, Chasen Allen Wright, Jaclin Anise Holmes, and Julia Allenne Holmes; brother-in-law, Alton Holmes; brothers, Mark and Wade Clements; step-daughter, Jacklyn Schott (Stephen Schott); and step-son Donald R. Holmes (Gloria Holmes). She will be sorely missed , but know that she is at peace now. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Homes–Northeast. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 23, 2009 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
