Linda Sue French

On July 31, 1951 in Chicopee, Massachusetts, Linda Sue “Bobbi” French was born to Wayne Edwin and Edith Irene Powell French. Moving to El Paso with family in 1954, she grew up in the northeast. She graduated from Irvin High School in 1969 and from UTEP in 1988, being a member of Alpha Chia. She worked at Sierra Medical Center as a pharmacy tech for 19 years. She fought a long battle with lupus, which finally won on October 25, 2012. When her health allowed her, she had such a green thumb growing flowers and her beautiful lawn to which gave her such joy and pride. The loves of her life were her rescue dogs, “Cha-Cha and Pierre”. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by 3 sisters; Judy Myers and Cynthia Pierce of Canutillo and Sharon Croston of Wichita Falls, and 4 nephews, 1 niece, 6 great nephews, 5 great nieces and 1 great-great nephew. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00pm on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will begin at 11:00am, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
