Lillian Kondrotas

LILLIAN KONDROTAS passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the age of 91. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Rosaline Mankevich(Kiela), husband Alphonse J. Kondrotas, son Thomas Kondrotas and infant grandson Thomas Kondrotas Jr., and her sister Ann Kapinos. She is survived by her son Alan Kondrotas and his wife Carmen, her sister Virginia Omilanowicz and husband Ted, grandchildren - Kiela Kondrotas and Richard Dresser, great-grandchildren; Richard Dresser Jr., Dustin Gutierrez, Troy Dresser, Mia Dresser. Lillian graduated from the former Commerce High School in Worcester. She worked as an underwriter for Commercial Auto Insurance of Auburn, MA and Obrien & Gibbons Insurance Agency. She also worked for Hanover Insurance formerly State Mutual Life Assurance Company. Mrs. Kondrotas was a member of the former St. Casimir Church where she was a member of the choir. She was very active in many organizations; serving in various capacities such as in the Knights of Lithuania, Council 26 and the Lithuanian Charitable Association of Maironis Park. Lillian loved to travel with her husband Alphonse, going to Bermuda, Hawaii, Switzerland, Germany, California and the Canadian Rockies. Going to Florida in later years, yearly with her friends, Aldona Waska, George and Diane Listowicz. She loved her flower garden and Hot Fudge Sundaes. Holy Rosary will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 12:00PM, with Funeral Service to follow at 12:30PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Private inurnment will be held by the family at a later date.
