Leopoldo Perales

Our beloved Leopoldo Perales was called to his eternal life June 8th 2021. He was 82 years old. Born in El Paso, Texas, raised in Smeltertown. A proudly Retired Chief Petty Officer of the United States Navy. He loved his only daughter and all generations of his grandchildren so much! He loved to golf and watch wrestling every Monday night. Spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite hobby. He is greatly missed by his wife, Margaret Perales, his daughter Margaret Lee Perales. And his grandchildren Angie Perales, Leo Perales, Sarah Villagrana, Elaine Ojeda, Mathew Mylar, Danielle Mylar, his 18 great grandchildren, one who was inspired and joined the Navy like his papa and one great- great granddaughter. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 23rd at 4 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. located at 9521 North Loop Dr. El Paso, TX 79907. Visitation will also be on Thursday June 24th 9:30 -12:30. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
