Leonila "Lily" Flores

Leonila "Lily" Flores, age 100, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 03, 2025. She was born in Chillicothe, Illinois on January 17, 1925. Lily worked for Farah Manufacturing for 20 years and was highly recognized by the Farah Family. In her later years, Lily operated as a reputable self-employed custom seamstress, specializing in making bridal dress wear.  She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; and will be greatly missed. Lily is preceded in death by her parents; Jose Nieves Alvarez and Concepcion Gaytan; her loving husband; Jose Fidel Flores. She is survived by her dearest children; Jose Flores Jr., Ricardo Flores, Rebecca Fernandez (John) and Lourdes Estrada (Andy); her sister; Maria Elena Cervantez; along with 10 grandchldren, Joseph Fernandez, Samantha Wohletz, Andres Estrada Jr., Lisa Montoya, Nick Flores, Jennifer Rayos, Jose Flores III,  Amber Flores, Ashley Delgado and Bethany Flores; and 15 great grandchildren. Lily is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory. 

A Gathering of Remembrance will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 6:00 PM and a Celebration of Life at 7:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Committal Service will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907.
