Leonard Walter Bune Jr. – father of eight, grandfather of thirteen, great grandfather of ten, loving husband, World War II Veteran, US Coast Guard Reserve, US Customs Inspector, respected community member, role model, humanitarian, and loved by all – has left this world for the next on Monday, the Fifth of March 2012. He is reuniting with family members originated in Spring Valley, Wisconsin – Brother David, Mother, Father, and Brother Jerome – leaving behind Sister Eloise, currently residing in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As Chief Investigator at RMK BRJ, Naval Construction Company, in Vietnam, Leonard met his wife of forty four years in Camaranh Bay, Nguyen Tuyet Khanh, who was never ahead of him or behind, but beside him always until his passing. Through all of his accomplishments and commitment to honor and duty, may he rest in peace. Funeral Service will be held at Sunset Funeral Homes, 4631 Hondo Pass, on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10:00am.
