Leo R. Caraveo

LEO R. CARAVEO passed on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the age of 75 surrounded by his loving family. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many. 

He was preceded in death by his loving father Epigmenio Caraveo. Leo is survived by his beloved mother Lilia Caraveo, his loving wife of 11 years Elizabeth Ann Caraveo, his loving daughters; Lisa Renee Martin (Marc), Sara Jo Caraveo, his loving grandchildren; Monica Alexis Gonzalez, Maya Marisela Gonzalez, his loving sisters; Isabel C. Garcia (Larry), Cynthia Madrid (Jimmy) and Socorro Chambers. He will be missed by many extended family and friends. Leo was a veteran of the United States Army serving our country in Vietnam within Special Forces Unit and was a proud Green Beret. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with Holy Rosary at 6:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:30am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N. Clark. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 1:00pm, with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina.
