LeeRay Montalbo

LeeRay Montalbo, 67, a loving husband, father and grandfather was born Feb. 13, 1950 in El Paso, TX and passed away May 18, 2017 at Naval Medical Center, San Diego CA. He grew up in El Paso, TX and attended Bel Air High School. He joined the US Navy and married our mother, Rachel Montalbo. He proudly served his country for 21 years. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Montalbo; son, LeeRay G. Montalbo; daughter, Sabrina R. Montalbo-Perez; son-in-law, Robert Perez; daughter-in-law, Aidee T. Montalbo; brother, LeeRoy Montalbo; sister, LeeNora Franco; granddaughters: Linnette M. Montalbo, LeeAnn T. Montalbo, Athena L. Montalbo, Cerina A. Perez, Alexandria I. Montalbo; grandsons: Alexander G. Montalbo, Leonidas C. Montalbo, Nathen M. Perez and Maximus N. Montalbo. May he forever rest in peace. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM, Sunday, June 04, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 AM, Monday, June 05, 2017 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd. Committal Service will follow at 1:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
