MSG Lawrence Tucker, US Army Retired, passed away on February 3, 2021 at the age of 101. MSG Tucker was born in Medford, MA, joined the Army in 1940, and served in three wars: WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Military honors include the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Combat Infantry medals. After 33 years of military service, MSG Tucker earned a BA in
Education from UTEP and taught driver’s education at Parkland High School. In his later years, he enjoyed traveling, dancing, gambling and winning at Sunland Park, and dining at Village Inn. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, honesty, courage, humility, kindness, and
independence. MSG Tucker is survived by his wife of 29 years, Evangelina Tucker, and was a loving Father and Nonno to seven children from his late wife Elsie Tucker: Lawrence Jr., Laura Tucker Lawyer, Gregory, Andrew, Philip, Matthew, Anthony; grandchildren: E. Scott Cooley, Tracie Britton,
Joshua Lawyer, John Tucker, Philip Tucker, Lizett Tucker, Cori Pacillo, Kaitlin Irmscher; and thirteen great grandchildren.
