Lawrence Douglas Durnford

Lawrence Douglas “Doug” Durnford passed away on March 07, 2018 in El Paso, TX at the age of 65. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Lawrence Arthur Durnford and Phyllis Louise Ivie Durnford. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brother; John Durnford (Sandy) and sister; Diana Durnford Maloney (Michael). Nieces/nephews: Andrew (Krystal), Lauren (Nathan), Sarah, Shannon (Matt), Ariana, and grandnephew Caleb as well as extended family and friends. Our beloved brother was an amazing man. He was an attorney, former city prosecutor and former El Paso Municipal Judge. He attended Irvin HS, UTEP and Texas Tech Law School. He served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Central America. He loved God, his country and his family very much. He is already greatly missed. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Hondo Pass.
