Laura C. Griffin

Laura Caballero Griffin, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, died on Friday, May 27, 2011. She was 97 and a life-long resident of El Paso, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Alfred Ino Griffin, sisters Rebecca Licón, Magdalena Ruiz, and brother, Mario Hernández. She is survived by her sister, Concepción Santaella, sons, Alfred J. Griffin, Jerry Griffin (Alice), Mario Griffin (Martha), daughters Laura Rodriguez, Yvonne Chapa (Armando), Irma O’Leal (Hector) and Rebecca Doñas. Her wonderful legacy includes a total of 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Rosary will be held at 7 pm, Friday, June 3, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home-West. A Memorial Mass will be held at 9 am, Saturday, June 4, 2011 at St. Jude Catholic Church.
