Laura Evelyn Betts

LAURA EVELYN BETTS passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the age of 77. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and will be deeply missed. She was a longtime Executive Secretary with the Government Employees Credit Union of El Paso, retiring after 43 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents Gracie and Hershal Hutcheson, her siblings; Mildred Stanley-Brooks, Carolyn Tanner, Helen Smith, and Anna Baird. She is survived by her adult children; Timothy Heidtman Jr. and wife Carla Ann, Kelly Heidtman-Lowery and husband Jeff Lowery, her loving grandchildren; Jacob Heidtman, Meghan Smith, Keegan Arbogast, Desirae Heidtman, Mason Arbogast, Timothy Heidtman III, great-grandchild Rylan McCann, her siblings; Hershal Hutcheson, Mary Theis, Joyce Williams, Sue Boyd, Jane Franklin, Gail Reed, June Stephens and William Hutcheson. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:00am both services at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr. Officiated by Rev. Gretta Griffin-Hurd. Pallbearers; Jacob Heidtman, Keegan Arbogast, Mason Arbogast, Timothy Heidtman III, Robert Wiest and Hector Albaco. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, NM.
