Larry Ulysses Patterson

Larry Ulysses Patterson entered the Presence of his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the age of 62. He was born in Lockport, New York, on Sunday, January 20, 1957, to Ulysses and Rosa (Alice Mae Vinson) Patterson. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Larry proudly served our country in the United States Army, retiring after more than 20 years. While serving in the military, he met his loving wife of 29 years, Virginia Edna Sidberry-Patterson. He leaves behind to cherish precious memories besides his wife and parents are sons, Dwight Patterson, Mauriece Patterson (Eden); daughters, Tiffany Sidberry-Patterson, Aerin Sidberry-Patterson, Sydney "Rikki" Sidberry-Patterson, and Jaden Sidberry-Patterson; seven grandchildren; sister, Alice-Skylare Marie Patterson; brothers, James Patterson (Vilma), Tracy Patterson and Paul Patterson(Shannon). Larry was predeceased by his sister Joanne Patterson. For those wishing to pay their final respects to Larry, a visitation will be at Destiny Family Christian Center, 9615 Dyer Street, El Paso, 1on Thursday, February 7, 2019, beginning at 11:30am, directly following funeral services will be held at 1:00pm. At 2:30 PM a committal service will commence at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
