Kevin Dean Jenkins

Kevin Dean Jenkins, 62, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016. Kevin was born in Mineral Wells, TX on March 15, 1954. He graduated from Andress High School in 1973 and went on to serve in the U.S. Army. After leaving the military, he worked for U.S. Customs, Colorado State Penitentiary, where he served on the SORT Team; upon returning to El Paso, he worked for Southwest Airlines for fifteen years. Kevin loved riding his Harleys and coaching softball. He made such a huge impact on so many lives and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by parents Billy and Pauline Jenkins and daughter Melissa. He is survived by his loving wife Roseann, daughter Tara, sons Christopher Gorham, Kyle Gorham and wife Alexis; granddaughters Jazlynn, Ella, and Adrienne; sister Karen and husband Robert Herrera, and many nieces and nephews, in-laws and those many longtime and lasting friends that claim his as “Brother”. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass 5:00-9:00 pm, Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church; Committal Service immediately following at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors.
