Kenneth P. Looper

Kenneth P. Looper, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. 

Kenneth was born in Oklahoma on May 26, 1935. Growing up during the Great Depression instilled determination and resilience which he lived by. He was a dedicated soldier and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from the United States Army in 1978. Kenneth met the love of his life, Ophelia in Norman, Oklahoma in 1963 and married later that year. 

Kenneth was a devout member of the Eastridge Church of Christ for more than forty years. He had an immense sense of humor and a wealth of wisdom. He was a ‘jack of all trades’ which included a passion for rebuilding classic cars. He was a pillar of strength and love whose life enriched all who knew and loved him; his absence will forever leave a void in our hearts.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, two sons, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Burial will follow at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors.
