Kathryn M. Sibley

Kathryn M. “Kit” Sibley passed away on January 28th, 2012 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Marie and her husband of 52 years, Joe. She is survived by her sons Joe, George, Michael, David, and her pet “Buddy” as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her and will miss her. Originally from Pennsylvania Kit spent the majority of her life providing a home for her military husband and her children. She was a Red Cross volunteer at WBAMC for 23 years. She was a strong willed, intelligent woman who enjoyed reading, crosswords, word puzzles, talking politics and playing cards. Special thanks go to Martha Zamora of Martin’s Foster Care and Kit’s caretaker Maria Maldonado. Services are private. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home, with interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Donations can be made to the El Paso Rescue Mission or a local animal rescue agency.
