Kathryn Page Morgan

Kathryn Page Keenan Morgan, 83, of El Paso TX, passed away peacefully June 5, 2024, at home surrounded by family.

She was born February 3, 1941, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana by her parents Roy S. Keenan, Sr. and Oral Helen (Dottie) James Keenan. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy and the University of Southwestern Louisiana.  On June 8^th, 1963, she married her high school sweetheart, Benjamin T. Morgan, Jr.

In 1964, Page and Benny moved to El Paso, where they lovingly raised two daughters. Page was a dedicated schoolteacher. She taught at Most Holy Trinity Catholic School, where she was a longtime parishioner, and many schools in the El Paso Independent School District including Newman Elementary, where she retired.

She is survived by her husband, Benjamin T. Morgan, Jr., daughter Kathryn Morgan Gaines (husband Greg) of Springfield, MO, daughter Angela Morgan-Thornton (special companion Bobby Melton) of Las Cruces, NM, beloved cousin and mentor Alvis Ann Wilson, “honorary daughter” Cherie Morgan Quiring, and a host of beloved cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Dottie Keenan, and brother Roy S. Keenan, Jr.

Visitation and Holy Rosary will be held Friday June 14^th from 5-8pm at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr.  Burial will take place Saturday June 15^th at 9:30am at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis.
